It is a new generation environmentally friendly sodium acetate/formate-based runway de-icer.

Product meets environmental and ecology aswell as the material compatibility requirements of SAE AMS 1431C.

It has excellent de-icing properties, either it is used by itself or in combination with liquid Runway de-icing product. It is a high performance replacement for urea, which has been the standard solid de-icer, providing safe operations but at some cost to the environment.
